Spring at last and the bluebells are out

The bluebells are just coming out – look closely and where bluebells grow you will also find spurge, yellow archangel and many other spring flowers.  You may also find wild garlic or ransomes – pluck a few leaves and add it to your salad or soup or wait until An Illustrated Country Year is published at the end of August and find a recipe for Wild Garlic Pesto.

Hi Celia! Looking around your blog I enjoy the beautiful images of nature, flowers, animals – chicken eggs! I see your first love is painting with watercolors so I thought I would share with you a song I recently wrote called…”Watercolor.” http://wp.me/p3mOze-m. Hope you enjoy!
